View from Pike Lake Selfie Stand

Fall is upon us with the peak for colors is this coming weekend.  It is the time of year to go out for a hike and enjoy the colors as you walk through the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Pike Lake Unit.  The tower is closed – which is a popular destination this time of year.  I recommend hiking to the selfie stand overlook which gives you a  nice elevated view of the lake and tree tops.

If you are interested in being part of promoting the Pike Lake Unit, please stop in at our next Friends of Pike Lake meeting which will be held November 16, 2020 at 6:30pm.  The shop is a ½ mile south of the Forest Headquarters on the east side of the road.  Please bring a lawn chair.
