Corky Neu Memorial Bicycle Trail

Kettle Moraine State Forest – Pike Lake Unit

Corky was born with a serving heart.  He worked as Camp Host at Pike Lake and volunteered many hours to ensure forest visitors had a quality visit.

The Neu family would like to use the Corky Neu Memorial to fund the construction of a 1 mile bicycle trail that would run from the campground to the beach.  Many families who camp have requested a trail that would provide safe access to the beach.  The trail could also be used for hikers.

The trail will be constructed with 2 inches of crushed limestone on a four inch aggregate base, 1 mile in length.  Total cost of the project of $35,000 based on a path ten feet wide.
