Moraine State Forest - Pike Lake Unit is looking for volunteers to
participate in a state-wide event celebrating Earth Day. Volunteers are
needed to help plant trees, clean up flower beds and pick up litter.
Volunteers should wear work boots, long pants and gloves. Please bring
your own shovels and gloves if available. A state park admission sticker
is not required for volunteers. Meet at the forest headquarters.
Discovery Day: June 2 . . . come on out and explore the offerings!
In addition to the usual activities . . . nature T-shirt printing, archery lessons, Smokey Bear, face painting, fishing and more . . . celebrate the ribbon cutting for our new amphitheater! The HUHS band performs for the celebration.
